Clear Scraps 12x12 Acrylic LO--Let's Go

Hi everyone!!  Laura here with you today!

I've got an acrylic LO I'm sharing that has a fun

stamped and stenciled background!

The base is one of the 12x12 Acrylic Sheets from Clear Scraps.

These are completely clear so you can paint, stamp, stencil, use

alcohol inks, or even just used patterned paper to create a fun look.

To start you peel off one side of the protective covering (I leave the

other side on until I'm finished with the project to keep it nice and

clean).  Then I took some green acrylic paint and the Clear Scraps

6" Spiral stencil.  I dabbed the paint thru the stencil.

A good rule of thumb is doing this in threes.  And also

putting part of the stencil off the page for at least one

or two of the stenciled shapes.   After I let the stenciled

patterns dry a bit.  Then I used a similar stamp shape

to come in with a different complementary paint color

(I used gray) to add a little extra pattern and depth.

You can see the gray stamped shape just peeking out here.

The stamped and stenciled images are around the outer

edges so the make a great frame for the pretty papers and

of course, the focal point, the picture.  Some cute stickers

frame it out and create a great title for the page.   I also

added a few stickers and embellishments to the centers of

the circles.  They could have stayed plain, but I'm always a

fan of more embellishments.....haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I hope you're inspired to try your own acrylic sheet LO to

scrapbook some of those memories.  The are a fun option

to the same old background.  Especially since using these,

you can create any background your imagination can think up!
