Dog DIY Wood Shapes
March 03, 2020
Hello all! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share another fun, new Clear Scraps release! The Dog DIY Wood Shapes has three different designs to create a home decor project, to use alone, or to make a mini album as I did.
The first shape is a cute paw that I painted with black acrylic paint. I used my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to affix patterned paper to the back of the paw. I even adhered a photo in one of the cut outs.
The next shape is a bone which I covered both sides with patterned paper. I trimmed excess paper using an x-acto knife and sanding tool. Wallet sized photos work best on this shape.
On both sides of this page, I utilized my circle punches to adhere different patterns across the bone. I even adhered a couple with pop dots to add dimension.
The last shape is a heart which is the largest size. Here, I was able to use a 4x6 photo that I matted onto white cardstock. I also added another pattern underneath my photo to add color.
I used my hole punch to place a hole in each shape to loop my chrome book ring through. I finished by adding some fun yellow seam binding ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Be sure to visit for more inspiration from our design team! Have a great day!
