Clear Scraps Medium DIY Pallet -- Flannel Fun
March 09, 2020
Hi there everyone! Laura with you today and even with
spring right around the corner (yes it's coming!) I'm
sharing a home decor project that would be great year
round, especially if you love cabin or woodsy decor,
or love that buffalo plaid themed home decor look
look that is so popular right now! It's sure one of my
favorite looks, how about you?
How cute is this little sign?!! It started with the Clear Scraps
Medium DIY Pallet, these little square pallets are so great for
any home decor project! Paint 'em, ink 'em, paper 'em! Any
theme you want for seasonal decor, or add photos to display
a favorite memory. Sometimes I keep it simple, and so this
is just painted up with brown acrylic paint on the top and
bottom boards. The center board is covered with a piece
of patterned paper that goes with the outdoorsy theme.
Love the new Vintage Truck LG chipboard embellishment,
which is one of many chipboard shapes available in the
Clear Scraps store! Want to see all the others available
just waiting for your creativity? You can find them all HERE.
The truck has been painted with red, black and brown acrylic
paint, and then I went around the edges with black ink to
make it look a little more vintage/aged. I added a bunch of
cute cabin and outdoor themed stickers. They are layered,
using foam tape, at the back of the truck. At the top,
the word Howdy is also new from Clear Scraps!
It's just painted with black acrylic paint which matches the
buffalo plaid theme perfectly! The little "channel the
flannel" tag with a twine bow adds a little of that plaid
flair and color at the top of the project.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
