Clear Scraps Mini Shaker -- Bright Birthday Card

Hello everyone!  Laura here today with you, and

so very excited to start sharing some of the brand

new Clear Scraps goodies for 2020!!  Just wait

until you see all the fun NEW coming to the store!

Do you LOVE the Clear Scraps Shakers?

If you haven't tried them, check them out!

They are so fun on LO's, home decor projects,

and YES cards!  I used the brand new

Mini Shaker Birthday Cake to make this one:

This sweet little cake is just adorable!  As with all of the

Clear Scraps chipboard and/or shakers, you can use ink,

paint, glitter glue, stamps, stencils, the creative options

are endless!  For this birthday cake, I loved the dripping

icing, it gives it such a fun look, right?!!

I painted the cake first with orange acrylic paint,

then I painted the frosting area with white acrylic.

To give it the fun sparkly, thick look of real frosting,

I added a couple of layers of a thick glitter glue.

Love the way it give it a little extra 3D texture,

and it looks like yummy frosting dripping down!

The shaker part of the card is in every layer.  The

movement it creates in every project you create

is such a fun element!  You can add sequins, or

small beads or gems.  Lots of options!

I added little beads and gems in this card, and then

finished it off using some fun, bright patterned

papers, stickers, enamel dots, and twine.  It's

ready to give as a nice addition to a birthday gift!

If you haven't checked out the Mini Shakers in

the Clear Scraps store, make sure to check them

out, and guess what, if you have, you should

see ALL the NEW!!!  Find them HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today, make sure to
