XL Vintage Christmas Truck
December 02, 2019
Happy Holidays Clear Scraps family! We're in the home stretch of the year and holiday season. Today I'm sharing this super fabulous XL Vintage Wood Truck that I turned into a Christmas decoration for my home.
The most challenging part of this whole creation to me was painting the tires on there. Don't look too closely, painting is not my thing (I do wish it were my thing though!)
The chipboard tall trees were the perfect embellishment on the side of the truck.
The most fun part of creating this was the extra-large Christmas tree in the back of the truck.
I printed out a tree and roughly traced it onto a plain sheet of 12x12 acrylic, then cut it out and adhered pattern paper behind the acrylic. I then embellished it and adhered it to the truck with hot glue. I cut away the excess part of the tree so it wouldn't show near the back tire.
I then added our surname in a cute alphabet and added some floral embellishments and trim.
This looks amazing in our home! It would also make a wonderful gift for your non crafty friends all decorated and done up just right.
See you soon, friends!
