Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share an adorable
home decor project. It's fun and easy to create, and would make
a great addition to your home, or a friend's, if you choose to gift it!
It starts with the base of one of Clear Scraps awesome pallet shapes,
the Bulb DIY Medium Pallet Shape. If you haven't taken the plunge
and tried one of these, you are really missing out! Fun to create, and
best yet....they are a GREAT way to use up extras you might have
after you scrapbook with a collection kit or embellishments.
I traced the ornament/bulb shape onto the snowflake paper, cut out
the pieces, inked the edges with brown ink, then glued to the pallet
shape. Then I painted up that cute little truck and the word Christmas.
Did you know Clear Scraps has amazing chipboard? You can find the
Old Truck Chipboard Embellishment in the store along with so many others!
The word Christmas is one of many choices in the Clear Scraps store to create
scrapbook pages, or any project. You can find all the different options HERE.
The Christmas Chipboard Word Title used on this project, you can find HERE.
Since I used paper to cover the ornament, I decided to stick with
the paper look and traced out the top onto a piece of cardstock. To add
just that extra little touch, I tied a bow with a bit of burlap ribbon and some
red and white twine. The word Merry and the holly and snowflakes are those
"leftovers" from another project. Great to use up those little bits that you
have when you complete other projects. I love to use up all of a kit or
set of embellishments, and this is a great way to do that!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hope you are inspired to try creating your own Clear Scraps DIY
Pallet projects. They are so much fun!
