Pumpkin Shaker Magnet - Hello Fall
November 16, 2019
Hi everyone!
Today I have a simple but super cute project to share.
I love the small shakers that Clear Scraps carries!!
Today I have used the small Pumpkin Shaker.
But I didn't use it as a shaker.
What I did was this.....
I started out with using some fabric scraps to cover the inside bottom piece.
Its the same fabric I used in my last project.
I glued all the layers together except the 2 top pieces.
I painted the top piece with off white acrylic paint to start. I needed a base for my watercolor
paints. I used a couple different ones to get my orange color.
I then inked the outside once it was dried with walnut stain distress ink.
I stacked some paper leaves, giving the illusion that there was a pile of leaves inside the shaker.
I adhered the acrylic piece and the top piece together and then glued it to the other layers.
I made a bow out of some burlap ribbon and added my sentiment to the front and a magnet to the back.
Now I have this beautiful fall magnet to hang on my fridge!!
This was so simple and easy to create!
Thanks for stopping.
Have a great day!!
Kim :)
