Jingle Wood Tag by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here using some new products from ClearScraps.

Jingle-clearscraps-8-steph-ackerman

The Jumbo Wood Tag Scallop is approximately 6" x 15" and has lots of possibilities.  Since we are heading towards Christmas, I decided to go with a Christmas theme and painted it red.

Jingle-clearscraps-steph-ackerman

Once the tag dried, I taped the Jingle all the way Stencil to the tag.

Jingle-clearscraps-2-steph-ackerman

Next, I used Imagine Craft's Gold Creative Medium to create texture through the stencil.  Allow to dry.

Jingle-clearscraps-6-steph-ackerman

Place the Sparkle stencil in the upper corner and tape it in place.  Use the Gold Creative Medium to cover the words "tis the season".  Let it dry.

Using modeling paste with the Sparkle stencil to place stars around the tag.

You can use the included rope for hanging; however, I decided to use some Christmas ribbon.

Clear Scraps Printer's Tray -- Something Wicked

Happy October everyone!  Laura here to share a project during my

favorite time to craft!  Love everything Halloween, especially when

it comes to making fun home decor projects!  And I've got a fun one

today using the Clear Scraps Small Rectangles Printer Tray Frame!

Clear_Scraps_Printers_Tray_Frames_Chipboard_Something Wicked

The Clear Scraps printer trays are awesome to use when you want to create

home decor, or a try a different way to keep favorite memories.  This tray

would be an adorable way to remember a favorite Halloween party, or

favorite costumes, just replace one of the decorated spots with a picture.

It's just painted up with some green acrylic paint, and it's ready to go!

You can find all different shapes of printer trays HERE in the store.

To give this project some great depth, the adorable Clear Scraps

chipboard pieces were perfect!  The little ghost trio is so cute!

They are painted with white acrylic paint, and then brushed

around the edges with some gray paint and a sponge brush.

Then 2 are glued to the paper on the tray, and one is glued on

top of the tray after the entire thing is assembled.  A few stickers

add some cute little spooky accents.  The Ornate Hinge is another

Clear Scraps chipboard set and easy to make them look like aged

iron with just acrylic paint!  Black is the base, then gray and brown

sponged on to finish the look.  Halloween creepy fun!

And more great chipboard elements fill more of the squares,

The Spooky Chipboard Word Title was painted with black acrylic paint,

the top brushed with Versamark ink, and then it was sprinkled with distress

embossing powder.  A perfect spooky look!  The fence in the bottom right

corner is Halloween perfect piece, and it's as simple as some black and

gray acrylic paint sponged on to create the look of an old weathered fence.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Stop back soon for more inspiration!

Pumpkin Mini Pallet Acrylic Book

Hello friends! Jennifer here to share a Halloween mini album I  created using the 6x6 Acrylic Tab Album.  The focal point of my front cover is the new Pumpkin Wood Mini Pallet Shape! Halloween is probably my favorite holiday so I  decided to make a "13 Days of October" book....much like a Daily December!

Clear_Scraps_Pumpkin_Mini_Pallet

For my Pumpkin Wood Mini Pallet Shape, I  began by painting with chalk paint in black.  Once dry, I  added a couple heavy layers of chunky glitter gold paint over the top. I  love the effect and it brought a lot of shine to the pallet!  I  then added some stickers from the collection I  used to accent.

Clear_Scraps_Pumpkin_Mini_Pallet2

For each acrylic page, I  colored the outside edges with alcohol ink in orange.  Alcohol ink is the fastest and easiest way to add color to your acrylic! The ink dries quickly and does not smudge; anything solvent based will work!

Clear_Scraps_Pumpkin_Mini_Pallet3

I  cut my background papers to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches to fit the pages as well as to allow the alcohol ink to show.  I  also inserted extra pages such as this kraft envelope I  had in my stash.

Clear_Scraps_Pumpkin_Mini_Pallet4

Here, I  folded down a glassine bag to use as another extra page.

Clear_Scraps_Pumpkin_Mini_Pallet6

I  also love to utilize my 12x12 Acrylic Sheets to add in pages!  I  trimmed a sheet down to 4x5 1/2 inches and colored with black alcohol ink.

Promises Shaker Album

IMG_4114wmGreetings, I am excited to share this adorable accordion album I created.  I admit that this is my first "shaker" album!   So  much yummy-ness in this album!

The album features Clear Scraps Geo Pattern Wood Accordion Album .  I added a dragonfly from the Dragonflies Chipbaord Embellishments on the front of the album.  I even used the cut way piece that hold the dragonflies to the chipboard as a frame!

I have included pictures of the finished album below.

This is Us Hearts Wood Album

Happy October, friends! Leah here with you today sharing my take on the beautiful 6x8 Hearts Wood Album and the This is US XL Script Wood Quote.

6x8_Hearts_Wood_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

The incredible Wood Albums are perfect for creating your own album however you wish! I LOVE the grain in wood and normally choose to leave it showing by staining or whitewashing it. This time, I wanted to make it POP with color.
I painted the This is Us wood quote with chalk paint, it just makes a statement against the background paper.

6x8_Hearts_Wood2_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

I covered the album covers with pattern paper, sanded the edges, then lightly distressed with ink. I then cut eight different pattern papers to 6 x 8" for the album pages.

6x8_Hearts_Wood3_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

I bound the album using twine from my stash. When tying off the binding, make sure to leave a little room to allow the album pages to move freely.

6x8_Hearts_Wood4_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

I then used cardstock and scrap pattern papers to cut out some accent files from my Cameo Silhouette to add into the album pages.

6x8_Hearts_Wood5_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

I am pretty certain I'll be giving this as a gift to someone who would like to add their photos too.

Some of the pages I left blank, which I have not shown in the post.

6x8_Hearts_Wood7_This_is_Us_LeahCrowe

I made sure that the inside cover pages matched with the same pattern paper, as well as the outside covers.

Hello Fall Acrylic Scallop Album

Hello and happy October! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a mini book I created with the Acrylic 3x8 Scallop Album.  I  love this time of year and love taking photos of my kids at a local pumpkin farm. The Acrylic Scallop Album is perfect for wallet sized photos to document favorite fall memories!

Clear_Scraps_Acrylic_Scallop_Album

As my focal point of the front cover, I  used the new Embroidery Hoops Chipboard Embellishments! I painted the top hoop and adhered the two together.  I  then added a sticker in the center with pop dots and finished with bakers twine.  You will also notice the edges of the acrylic pages are painted; I  used the same paint that I  painted the Embroidery Hoops.

Clear_Scraps_Acrylic_Scallop_Album2

On the inside of the front cover, I  used a tag that I  trimmed along with sticker and washi tape accents.

Clear_Scraps_Acrylic_Scallop_Album3

The height of the album is only 3 inches so I  choose to use wallet sized photos.  Since we haven't taken our annual fall photos, I  used white cardstock in place of the pictures (I  plan to add them later).

Clear_Scraps_Acrylic_Scallop_Album4

I  love adding tags under my photos allowing them to "stick out" from the edge of the album.  Again, I  tied some orange and white bakers twine to accent.

Clear_Scraps_Acrylic_Scallop_Album5

Using coordinating smaller embellishments such as chipboard or stickers is a great way to add layers to your pages!  I  also love to layer an extra pattern under my photos.

As the pages get bigger, you can use larger photos. Or do as I  did and add two photo slots where able.
