Hello and happy October! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a mini book I created with the Acrylic 3x8 Scallop Album. I love this time of year and love taking photos of my kids at a local pumpkin farm. The Acrylic Scallop Album is perfect for wallet sized photos to document favorite fall memories!
As my focal point of the front cover, I used the new Embroidery Hoops Chipboard Embellishments! I painted the top hoop and adhered the two together. I then added a sticker in the center with pop dots and finished with bakers twine. You will also notice the edges of the acrylic pages are painted; I used the same paint that I painted the Embroidery Hoops.
On the inside of the front cover, I used a tag that I trimmed along with sticker and washi tape accents.
The height of the album is only 3 inches so I choose to use wallet sized photos. Since we haven't taken our annual fall photos, I used white cardstock in place of the pictures (I plan to add them later).
I love adding tags under my photos allowing them to "stick out" from the edge of the album. Again, I tied some orange and white bakers twine to accent.
Using coordinating smaller embellishments such as chipboard or stickers is a great way to add layers to your pages! I also love to layer an extra pattern under my photos.
As the pages get bigger, you can use larger photos. Or do as I did and add two photo slots where able.
Thank you for stopping by today! Check out all of the acrylic albums by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
