Grandkids Photo Frame
October 19, 2019
Hi Everyone!
Today I am bringing you a very special project.
I am proud to be a grandmother to 3 wonderful little grand daughters.
They are my whole world!
So I am super excited to show you today's project.
I have taken the Grandkids Birch Wood Frame and made it something special!
Let me take you through my process on how I altered this frame.
I first started off by painting the frame with ivory paint. I inked the edges with
distress inks. I used 2 different colors.
Where the photos will go, I used some pattern paper from my stash.
The heart and the rectangle photo slots are 2 pieces, so I took the top piece and adhered the pattern paper.
Once I cut out the insides, I used that as mats for my photos (which I am waiting for this years school photos).
Once they had time to dry, I added some ivory colored pearls to the insides of the frames.
The top part of each frame is open to slide my photos in. This way I can change them out as the girls grow.
I added some flowers and pearl sprays from my stash. I also added some butterflies that I inked
and layered them together. I added glossy accents to the top butterfly.
I love how this has turned out and can't wait to but their photos in it.
I will be hanging this in my craftroom.
Thanks for stopping and you can get yours at Clear Scraps online store!!
Thanks,
Kim :)
