Wood "Write your Story" Album by Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with a Wood Album by Clear Scraps.  I created with the "Write your Story" wood album and matching 6" stencil.
So fun and easy to make it your own.  I will use this one as an art journal~

Creating the cover was the fun part !!!  The cover was painted with acrylic paint and then sanded lightly.  The feather was stenciled first using the 6" Write your Story stencil.  I used about 4 different colors of Archival ink but as you can see it all looks black.  So black it is!!!

The stencils added to the background to create interest and dimension are ~ 6" Chevron, 6" Swallowtail Butterfly, 6" Quaterfoil, 6" Plaid and 6" Shiplap Clear Scraps has some really cool and fun images that look great for mixed media backgrounds.  Just start adding one at a time~

I used black, cobalt, beige and white ink with the 6" stencils (for the background).  The cool thing is if you have an area you don't like just add more stencil images until you get the look you are looking for.  I love that, can't mess it up!!  No way!

I added mixed media paper to the wood album because I  will be using this as an art journal~so excited to create a page!!

The inside cover the 4"x 6"stencil  "All Created" was used by Clear Scraps.  On the side page (black) the 6" Diamonds stencil was used to create a background.
I also used red rubber stamps by Darkroom Door for a the art images.  Beacon 527 was used to glue the inside pocket on the wood inside cover.

This is the back cover~another pocket to hold any extras or notes.

Thanks for stopping by~
