Wood "Write your Story" Album by Clear Scraps!

Mixable Medley Album

Good day, Clear Scraps friends! Leah here with you today sharing the awesome Mixable Medley album. Each album includes 5 cascading pages mixed with both Acrylic & Chipboard. My husband recently celebrated his birthday, so this album is all about him.

I used several of the 6" stencils on the chipboard pages in the album. I started by painting the album pages lightly in white, then I used distress ink and a brush to stencil on the pages. I also used alcohol ink and a stencil on the acrylic page. Here's a list of the stencils used as well as a peek at some of the pages before decorated and assembled.

So cute! Here is a closer look at each page.

I used an acrylic sealer on the chipboard, which created a distressed look. I didn't love it, and the nozzle was clogged. I even tried cleaning the nozzle and went forth trying to seal it anyway. I should have waited for a new can. lol, live and learn, right?! It's still cute!

I'll add in my journaling later.

I applied pattern paper to the backside of the groovy heart so the back is covered as well.

I assembled the album using 1" book rings, then tied on ribbons for more fun and color.
