Hey there everyone! Who's excited for fall? Do you love fall crafting?
Laura here, and I've got to say, fall is my favorite time for crafting!
I'm here today to share a fun home decor project for Halloween!
It was created using the new Clear Scraps Jumbo Wood Tags.
This project uses the scallop wood tag. Love that little extra detail
at the top! It's like all the wonderful wood items from Clear Scraps,
limited only by your imagination! This one I painted with orange
acrylic paint, then brushed the edges of the tag with black acrylic paint.
After this dried, I used the new Clear Scraps 4x6 Oct 31st stencil.
You can use washi tape to hold the stencil in place, and then
sponge on your paint. The black acrylic really pops against the
orange paint on the tag, and fits perfectly on the tag right below
the little ghost pallet shape! How cute is that little ghostie?!!
She's new from Clear Scraps too, of course!
It's the Ghost Medium DIY Pallet Shape from Clear Scraps!
Just painted up with white acrylic paint, and then added a
cute face. I'm not the best at hand painting.....so I just found
a printable on the computer, cut it out, glued it on, and done!
I added a few stickers and scraps of paper, journal boxes, etc, to
add pops of color and texture, using some foam tape to pop up.
To finish it off I added a bunch of Halloween ribbons, some tulle,
and the nice heavy duty cord....that one actually comes with the tag!
Make sure to check out the Clear Scraps store to find a bunch of
these great DIY Pallets in all sorts of shapes to get your creative
juices flowing and give you ideas for all your home decor projects!
