Back to School layout
September 05, 2019
Hiya, Clear Scraps friends! Today I'm sharing this cute back to school layout featuring Clear Scraps 12x12 acrylic sheet, 6" Magical fairy Stencil, and the swirl acrylic border & acrylic letters and numbers.
I edged the 12x12 acrylic layout using Alcohol inks in yellow. Their school colors are yellow and green, so I tried to incorporate those colors with the stenciling in the title, the swirl border at the bottom of the page, and along the acrylic edge of the layout.
I loved the small stars on the magical fairy stencil and used washi tape to block off parts of the stencil that I didn't want to be transferred to the acrylic letters.
I used stazon ink and stenciled the stars on the front side of the acrylic numbers.
I then turned the letters over and alcohol inked the backside of the letters.
I wanted the letters to pop and was going to outline them in a sharpie marker, but the ink ran out in my marker. I decided to rub the tip of the marker on my black stazon ink and used that to transfer the ink to the edge of the acrylic letters.
Here are a could of close-ups from the layout.
