Hey, Clear Scraps friends! Leah here with you today sharing my take on the Mom 12x12 Acrylic Layout.
With the acrylic layout all cut out for you, it is so much fun to decorate. I started by removing the protective film from the backside of the acrylic. I adhered only the word MOM to pattern paper, then cut away the letters using my craft knife. I then used alcohol ink and daubed the color all around the rest of the acrylic. Once that dried, I removed the protective film from the front of the acrylic, and accented all over the acrylic with a Viva Decor paint pen and let it dry.
I adhered the acrylic layout to a white cardstock background, but beforing adhering it all the way down, I placed my photos behind the frames of the acrylic. When doing this, I found it easier to use a wet glue, so I had time to adjust and move my photos around as needed.
I embellished with flowers and a Butterfly Mirror Embellishment.
I think this is one of those layouts that would look amazing hanging up as a home decor item.
To all the moms, grandmoms, aunts, fur moms, and dads that are also mama's, I hope your Mothers Day is filled with love and happy memories.
