Clear Scraps & Stampendous: Square Mini DIY Pallet Shape

Hello! Jennifer here to continue our cross promotion with Stampendous!  I  created a fun wall hanging with the Square Mini DIY Pallet Shape and a favorite photo of my kids and niece at the zoo when they were little.

I  began by coloring the wood with Distress Stain in Mustard Seed yellow.  The stain works great on the birch wood and you do not need much for good coverage.

Then using the Fern Background Stamp from Stampendous and StazOn in black, I  stamped a random pattern onto the wood pallet.  I  didn't worry about the images being perfect or if they overlapped. I  chose StazOn because I  did not want my ink to interact with the Distress Stain plus I  thought I  would get a better stamped image.

Here is a close up of the stamping! I  love how it turned out!

I  then added my photo as well as the stamped giraffe and sentiment included in the Stampendous set.  Using a small amount of Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I   added glitter to the giraffe's spots and the bottom of the leaves.
