Clear Scraps DIY Medium Pallet - Life in the Jungle
May 24, 2019
Hello everybody! Laura here with you this afternoon!
I'm sharing a project that's a little walk on the wild
side, using the Clear Scraps DIY Medium Pallet,
and some Stampendous stamps and glitters!
The base for this project is the Clear Scraps Square Medium DIY
Pallet. These are always a good choice for
any home decor project, or for highlighting a special
memory, like this one, of some grandpa/grandson fun!
I started by painting it a bright sunshine yellow with
acrylic paint. Next step, using the Stampendous
Cling Wild Texture stamp along the edges of the pallet.
Another reason I love these pallets. You can use so many
different mediums with them! Here, it was stamped with
embossing ink, and embossed using a charcoal gray
embossing powder to create a border to add some
fun texture to the Clear Scraps pallet.
The cute little monkeys, and the leafy jungle vegetation
are from the Stampendous WindowRama Monkey
stamp and die set.
I stamped the monkeys, and the cute little banana,
in Memento ink, colored them with Copic markers
and then cut them out. I die cut the leaves
out of cardstock, spread them with glue,
and then applied 2 different shades of green
Stampendous glitter. Looks like those
little monkeys are hanging out in the jungle,
including the one in the picture....haha!
If you haven't checked out the many options
and shapes of the Medium DIY Pallets in the
