Cherish Acrylic Layout with Clear Scraps

Hello Everyone!  Kim here with another design team project.  I have created this beautiful 12x12 Acrylic Layout using one of the Acrylic Sheets, Double Heart Chipboard Embellshiment and the Cherish Word Title Embellishment.  Let me take you through what I have done.

I started with adhering a sheet of pattern paper to the back of the acrylic sheet.  I wanted the back and front to look beautiful.  I then added 2 more layers to the front which I distressed the edges with my distress tool and distress ink.  The one layer I cut out a section which I distress and inserted a paper doily which is just peeking out from under my lovely flower.

I layered some beautiful lace under my photo make which is also distressed.  I cut a slit which I rolled back and inserted another doily under the mat.  I added a chipboard piece and some seam binding in the upper corner.

My chipboard pieces, which I love, have been distressed with distress ink and glossy accents.  They are popped up on foam tape and a photo can be easily slid under the one side.  My layout looks like its literally floating.  I added some seam binding as a hanger to the top of the sheet(which isn't pictured).

My layout is sturdy and looks beautiful.

Thanks for stopping!
