Simply Blessed Home Decor

Hey, Clear Scraps Friends!  I'm feeling extremely blessed this year. My new grandbaby is turning ONE, and life is full of little blessings,  which led me to create this lovely home decor piece. The Rectangle Medium Pallet paired with the Simply Blessed Stencil had this item coming together very quickly.

To start, I painted the pallet with chalk paint.

Once dried, I used washi tape to secure the large stencil so it wouldn't move.

Next, I dry brushed distress oxide in two different colors onto the stencil.

Next I stapled some cording to the backside so it could be hung up.

I found these little clothespins and thought that would be lovely for adding photos whenever I wanted. I hot glued those on there, as well as some Prima flowers from my stash.

Check out all the pallets and new large stencils, which are your favorite?
