DIY Catch All Box

Anybody else feel like their counter is where everything gets dropped?  In an effort to contain the madness I decided to decorate the Clear Box TrayBox and have a pretty place to drop things like keys, key cards, chapstick, etc.  The tray box is completely clear, as it is made of acrylic, and ready for you to decorate to your taste, making it perfect for any home!  Christine joining you today to show you what I did with mine!

I'm a sucker for pictures!  In fact pretty much my entire life, I've had pictures in my decor in as many places as I could! So knowing that this box was clear, it was an opportunity!  I went ahead and matted my picture with both white cardstock and then patterned paper.  I then put that on the bottom of the box - so the picture is covered up by the acrylic.  I used a strong adhesive along the edges to hold it on there.  I used the green washi tape that you see to hide that ;).

The box is held together by notches and stickers that come with it.  But some strong glue is also advisable.  I added glue and then to really secure things, I added washi tape! I decided to decorate with a pretty washi tape and go all the way around the outside of the box.  I used one kind of washi tape until the top line, then I used the same green that I had used inside!  You can see from this angle that the box also has little handles!

I also wanted to give you an idea of how big the box is!  As you can see my phone easily fits in it, so add that to the list of things that will be getting tossed in there!  Thanks so much for joining me today - be sure to check out all the organizational products that Clear Scraps has to offer!
