Hello Fall Door Hanging
October 11, 2018
Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing a fun little project that I created using the October Q Kit 2018! I had one leftover wood banner and decided to create a fall door hanging!
I took my left over pieces of the Carta Bella Fall break and cut 2x2 inch squares. I then cut the squares in half. Instead of adhering my triangle pieces directly to the wood banner, I traced the banner on a piece of kraft cardstock as a template (because I knew I wanted to add stitching to the pieces). Once the template was covered, I adhered it to the wood banner and used scissors and a sanding tool to remove excess paper.
I then used my Silhouette to add cut out leaves in white cardstock from my stash that were misted with spray ink. I also used gold foil cardstock from my stash to cut the "hello fall" title.
I then used my Crop-o-dile to punch holes at the top of the banner to add ribbon to hang my creation! Handmade decorations are a nice addition to your fall decor!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Have a great day!
