Tall Pallet Pumpkin Fun!

 Hi, Connie here with a fun Halloween project, using the new Tall Pallet Pumpkin shape by Clear Scraps.  This is sure to be a real kid pleaser.

Instructions:

Paint the birch wood pumpkin pallet shape with orange acrylic paint.  Use brown acrylic paint for the pumpkin stem.  Let dry.

Apply the web design, using the 6" spider web stencil by Clear Scraps, to random parts of the pumpkin.  Stencil with either black paint or black ink.

Speckle with white and black acrylic paint that has been watered down.  Let dry.

Emboss the two chipboard bat embellishments along with the chipboard spider with black embossing powder.

Apply a coat of mat sealer to the pumpkin and let dry.

Distress material scraps with Distress Stain and let dry.

Construct banner using the small acrylic banner pieces. Tie distressed material on twine and adhere to pumpkin.  Add a few black buttons in random places on the banner.

Add chipboard bats (for eyes) with strong adhesive.  Paint eye balls in center with white and black acrylic paint.

Paint mouth and outline mouth with white acrylic paint.  Outline pumpkin with black acrylic paint.

Adhere spider to stenciled web.  Add eyes to spider with white acrylic paint.

Such a fun project.  Not so spooky but really fun!!!
