Wood Album by Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with a useful and cute teacher's gift using the Notes Wood Album by Clear Scraps.   My example is more like a junk album.  It holds duplicate photos and ephemera that is really cool.   It has envelopes for storage and blank pages for notes.  Let me show you~

Instructions:

  1. Paint all sides with acrylic paint.  Let dry.
  2. Stencil the front of the album using the 6" Bouquet Daisies flower stencil by Clear Scraps.
  3. Arcylic paint options up to you.  Create what you love.

With a no.1 fine liner brush outline the flowers and leaves from the stencil with black acrylic paint.  Add a small amount of water, to the black paint,  so the brush flows smoothly.  The stencil was my guide.  By doing this the flowers really pop and look like they were painted on free hand.

Before the front was sealed, it was sanded lightly and then wiped down with a soft cloth.   The front cover was then varnished with a mat sealer.

The pages really reflect a junk album type look and I love it!!!  Add things you love to it.  The pages are made from cardstock and ephemera.  The photos are duplicates.  I used stamps to decorate and add interest to the pages.
