Heather here, and I am so excited to share my first design team project today! I used the 5x9 Feathers Layering Stencil to create some funky feathers for my layout. I chose pink gelatos for the base layer, and I let the feathers dry thoroughly before I added the black layer on top because I didn't want the colors to bleed together.
I also used the adorable Princess Sequins to add interesting details to my embellishment clusters. They were so fun to scatter across the page. Here's a closer view.
The stencils were so easy to work with, and I love the way the feathers turned out. They are fun and quirky just like the papers I used.
This layout makes me laugh every time I see it. We were at VBS last year, and my son really wanted to pet the chicken in the petting zoo. Someone caught it and handed it to him, and the look on his face was like "Now what?".
Other Products Used: Pink Paislee's She Art Rub Ons, Basic Grey's Highline Paper and Stickers, and Bazzill Cardstock.
