Hello! It's Jennifer on the blog to share one of the fabulous new releases that debuted at Creativation in January! Susan took the Shaker Shapes to a whole new level with the Wood Accordion Shaker Albums! I used the Houses Wood Accordion Shaker Album and turned it into a school house to document favorite back to school photos!
I used red acrylic paint to color the front piece of my album. I went in with white acrylic paint to line the edges of the windows, doors, and the outside edges of the album. Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I adhered a fun cursive print pattern to the back piece of the shaker. Using scissors and a sanding tool, I removed excess pieces of paper. Once I assembled the front cover, I adhered this wood ruler and floral rosette to accent.
I covered each side of the album with patterned paper again trimming excess as needed. Actually I did a lot of sanding but it is worth it to get your end result!
I tied my pages together in an accordion fashion using bakers twine. However, you can use chrome book rings or ribbon! Also, the Shaker Albums can be assembled as a mini album; there is no wrong way!
Thank you for stopping by! Visit the Clear Scraps shop to see the 7 other Wood Accordion Shaker Albums! Which is your favorite? Have a good day!
