Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm back to share my tag for this month! I also have an easy technique to share with you! The focal point of my tag is the new
Ten Speed Bike Chipboard Embellishment! How cute is this shape?
Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive, I adhered my patterned paper to my Chipboard Tag. I then used scissors and a sanding tool to remove any excess edges of paper.
I found this Color Shift metallic paint from Plaid in black and thought it would be perfect for the tires, pedals, and seat of the bike!
I then applied a couple coats of pink acrylic paint to the rest of the bike!
Once my paint was dry, I applied embossing ink to the pink areas of the bike followed by a glitter pink embossing powder. Next, I set the powder using my heat gun.
Here is a close up of the final result! I love the sparkle on the bike (and I always wanted a pink ten speed when I was little)!
I finished embellishing my tag by adding die cuts, stickers, and chipboard pieces from the collection I used. I then took a piece of white seam binding and colored it yellow with Distress Stain. Once dry, I tied it at the top of the tag!
Thanks for looking! I hope this inspires you to some some fun techniques with Clear Scraps chipboard! Check out the large variety of Chipboard Embellishments by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
