Hello! Jennifer on the blog with one of the new Wood Pallet Shapes! Are you loving the new releases from Clear Scraps? I'm always amazed on what Susan designs! I'm sharing the House DIY Pallet Shape today! The DIY Shapes are so easy to assemble and you can use paint or stain on the wood to color! I chose a brown acrylic paint as my background. The wood is such great quality that the grain shows right through!
As a part of my title, I used the new Home Chipboard Word Title which I colored with glitter embossing powder! I thought it went perfect with the House DIY Pallet Shape as well as the saying I used (I'm a big Wizard of Oz fan)!
I used my Silhouette to cut the rest of my title using card stock and a fun font! I found the best way to adhere my letters was using Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive!
I cut sections of paper and fit them in a grid like pattern across the slats of the House. Before affixing them to the wood, I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges to give it some dimension.
I used a fun wreath cut file around my photo as well as added in small accents such as this stamped circle and decorative brads!
Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to check out the selection of DIY Pallet Shapes by visiting the Clear Scraps shop! Have a wonderful day!
