December Tag with Jennifer
December 15, 2017
Hello! Jennifer on the blog to share my tag for this month! Christmas is one of my favorite holidays to scrap since the embellishments and papers are always so beautiful!
Using one of the Acrylic Tags colored it with Alcohol Ink in Red Pepper. Using Alcohol Ink is the best way to add color to Clear Scraps acrylic since it dries quickly and your color won't run!
Next, I turned my tag over to add some texture to my background. You always want to add your second medium on the opposite side of your first! I secured my 6 Inch Stars Mascil with washi tape and applied clear Gesso.
So my effect didn't turn out as I had hoped. I wanting the gesso to show more as I thought it would be white LOL. Live and learn!
Here is a close up of one of the stars...so there is some texture there. Once my gesso was dry, I added papers and die cuts to the front. This would make a cute addition to a Christmas gift!
Thank you for looking! Visit the blog for more Clear Scraps inspiration from the design team! Have a great day!
