2018 6x6 Calendar Kit

Hello friends!  It's hard to believe this year is coming to a close!  As we look to 2018 I'm sharing the 6x6 Calendar Kit from Clear Scraps! The kit includes 12 tabbed chipboard pages, two acrylic covers, 12 blank calendar pages and a 6 inch acrylic stand to display your handiwork! What a great way to document favorite photos from the past year or dress up your workspace! 

I  used white acrylic paint on the edges of my chipboard pages before covering with patterned paper.  I  then cut my papers down to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 in size and used Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive to adhere to my chipboard.  The smaller size also allows me to use some of the many awesome Clear Scraps embellishments such as one of these Nordic Snowflake Chipboard Embellishments.

For the month of March, I  used the Lucky Chipboard Word Title as my main embellishment. I  first painted it with black acrylic paint then used a glitter black embossing powder to give it some shine. 

Here, I  used the Small Acrylic Rectangle Deco Frame on top of my 3x4 Journaling Cards to add some dimension to this month!  I  chose to leave the acrylic bare but you can color with alcohol ink or use an embossing folder as well. 

October features two of the fun Ghost Chipboard Embellishments painted white and adhered over a die cut spider web. 

I  used a small number stamp set for the calendar pages and filled in holidays with a journaling pen.  Using letter stickers from your stash is a great way to spell out your months! I   stitched through the letters with my sewing machine before adhering my calendar pages down.
