Shakin With the Mouse
October 19, 2017
Hi everyone! Nancy here today to share with you a fun new printer tray from Clear Scraps, the Mouse Printer Tray.
As the children have gotten older, the number of characters and therefore photos we take at Disneyland has rapidly reduced. This little printer tray is just perfect for showcasing a few of the photos we took at breakfast.
I began by painting each layer with black gesso. I love using gesso when working with chipboard as it allows for a smooth surface and doesn't absorb into the chipboard the way acrylic paint sometimes does. Helpful hint....mark the top and bottom of your pieces when preparing so you paint the "right" side, therefore making it much easier to assemble.
I filled each section with either photos or patterned paper and then filled the ears with a variety of sequins and other bits. It is fun the way things "move" within the tray, making it a bit more interactive.
Thanks for stopping by.
Nancy
