Home Decor with the Swirl Pumpkin Mascil
October 25, 2017
Hi! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing a fun little home decor piece I created using the 6 Inch Swirl Pumpkin Mascil! I love all things fall and this pumpkin trio is too cute! Using a wood canvas, I covered the front with white chalk acrylic paint.
I then secured my Mascil with washi tape and carefully painted with my orange and green acrylic paint. I have to say I haven't quite perfected this yet and did get some bleeding. But, overall I'm pretty happy with my result. After my paint was dry, I lightly sanded the edges of the wood to give it a distressed look.
I then adhered some cute pumpkin patterned paper and embellishments to finish! My sign is all ready to sit on my mantle and will last for many years to come!
Check out all of the fun Mascils by visiting the Clear Scraps shop! Have a great day!
