June Tag!

Angel here with this months tag I made for June using the Clear Scraps Clear Acrylic Tag Album Set!

June Tag

Below is the steps in which I created my tag! Its very easy to play with these acrylic tags. I started off by tracing the tag onto pattern paper then cutting it out! Then I used Beacon Liquid Glue to adhere it down to the acrylic tag. I love to used the graphics from the paper line so I like to fussy cut into the paper.

June Tag 1

As you can see I fussy cut the roses multiple times to place and tuck around on the top of the tag. Layering till you get the look you one by stacking and tucking behind other cutouts.

June Tag 3

June Tag 2

I also added a bow using twine on my cutout tag. I used pop dots to pop up the edges of my tag,

Then I added a Ribbon bow to the top of the main tag to finish it up.

Perfect to add on gifts.

Fireworks Glitter Clipboard by Pinky

Hey there Clear Scraps friends, it's Pinky today and I just went into my craft room for fun to play this week and came our with a fun glittered Acrylic Clipboard. For this project, I took the Clear Scraps Small Deco Acrylic Clipboard I peeled off the protective film on the back and took the 6" Fireworks Splash Stencil and some paints and created the fireworks on the back.

I flipped the clipboard over and used the paper from the Creating Made easy June 2017 Kit to matte my photo and used the sticker on the top from the same kit.

Now here is the kicker, when i was all done applying everything, even the sequins, I took a clear sealant spray and sprayed over the whole thing and applied glitter! Very lightly. You can see I oversprayed in the bottom right hand corner, but it still looks good. In crafting we all know you just go with it.

EVERYTHING GLITTER! Ha!

Happy Friday friends, make it a glitter-ific day!

Bookstand Photo Display

Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing Clear Scraps 8" x 8" Bookstand

Bookstand_dragonfly_LeahCrowe

Traditionally, you can punch holes in this to display a mini album, instead I decided to use it to display photographs for my husbands desk at work.

Bookstand2_dragonfly_LeahCrowe

I kept it pretty simple only adding pattern papers and embellishments. My youngest child graduated fifth grade yesterday, and I'm so proud of him.

The beautiful thing about this design is that I can exchange the photos as regularly as I want using repositional glue.

I just love the Clear Scraps mirror embellishments. This dragonfly is one of my favorites.

Have a great weekend!

Tag set with Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with a cute tag/card set using the 6" stencils by Clear Scraps.  Take out some scrap pieces of cardstock, ink and stencils and that will get you started.

Clear scraps_stencils_c.mercer

The cards are 4"X 4".  There are 6 cards in the set. Each card is stenciled with a nautical image from the Ocean Friends and Beach Fun stencils by Clear Scraps.  I used different color of inks for a fun look.  Each card is decorated with Sequins by Clear Scraps. See steps taken in photo below.

I also stenciled a 5" X 7" muslin bag to hold the card set in.  It made a really cute gift.

The card fronts were popped up with dimensional adhesive.   Easy project but does take time to complete all the fronts and stencil the bag.  The background of the bag is sprayed with colored ink spray for added color.

Shovel Shaker Mini Binder

Hello! I can't believe its June already!  Here in the US, that means school is out and its time for vacations!  One of my all time favorite Clear Scraps products are the Build It Your Way Acrylic Binders!  I used the Build It Your Way Small 7.5 x 7.5 Acrylic Binder with 6.5 x 6.5 BIYW Scallop Acrylic pages to document our trip to Florida last year!  To add a little bit of color to my background, I used the 12 Inch Spiral Mascil with yellow spray ink. I love the way it turned out!

I thought it would be fun to use the Shovel Shaker on the front of my book too!  I covered the front frame with patterned paper and edged with acrylic paint.  For the "inside" of the shovel, I covered the back chipboard with a fun woodgrain print and added bright turquoise sequins! I finished by adding some bakers twine and a coordinating pinwheel sticker.

I used patterned paper for the inside cover of my book as well as to add some journaling.  I used a pennant hand punch to create a banner at the top of the page and then stitched through with my sewing machine.

I prefer to leave my acrylic bare because I love the clean look! But, you can use alcohol inks, paints, or Staz On ink to add color to your pages!

I also love creating fun inserts to add pages to my book! Here, I used a fun Silhouette cut file with kraft cardstock so I can add more photos!  You can also add in tags or envelopes as well! I didn't have any on hand so I cut them on my Silhouette!

I used the 12 Inch Spiral Mascil again with three different alcohol inks to color this page! Just something different to mix it up and add color!

Nashville Inspired June Tag by Pinky

Well hello again Clear Scraps friends, it's PINKY all the way from Nashville, Tennessee today and this week is HUGE in our neck of the woods with the CMA's arriving and of course Bonnaroo as well.

I actually used my Creating Made Easy May Kit to create this tag, nearly everything on the tag was from the May Kit.

ClearScraps June Tag May Kit Pinky Hobbs - 2

I covered the Chipboard Tag Album Page using the Creating Made Easy May Kit patterned paper (PhotoPlay) then took the Guitar Chipboard Embellishment (also included in the kit) and sprayed it with adhesive and coated it in GOLD glitter!

I used the 6" Butterfly Teardrop Stencil to create the glittered butterfly in the upper corner.

All the other papers were in the kit, I only added the stencil, ribbon, glitter and stars!

Happy CMA's Nashville! And happy crafting all the Clear Scraps friends. Please share your projects with our Facebook Page and say hello! Share our blog and page, we love new friends.

Wonderful you ~ Send it Clear Card

Welcome Clear Scraps friends! I can hardly believe we are halfway through the year already!!

Card_LeahCrowe

Today I am sharing my decoration of the beautiful Half Scallop Send it Clear Card!!

Card2_LeahCrowe

I started off by taping down both front panels of the card, then stenciling the 6" Monarch Butterfly stencil pattern using Stazon ink.

Card3_LeahCrowe

I then peeled the film off the backside of these panels, coloring the top panel (scallop side) with yellow alcohol ink, and the bottom panel with salmon.

Card4_LeahCrowe

I then added pattern paper to the middle section of the card, attached the front panels, and started to embellish.

I used a Flower embellishment to create a placeholder for the sentiment on the card.
