Hello! It's Jennifer on the blog and I'm sharing some Bible Journaling pages I created with Clear Scraps' fabulous products! Who ever created the idea of "coloring" in your Bible was genius! What a wonderful way to strengthen your faith by using the art of scrapbooking!
For my first pages, I used the Crown Chipboard Embellishments that are perfect for my scripture! The Chipboard Embellishments are light enough that they won't make your layouts too heavy. I lightly sprayed my pages with yellow spray ink followed by adding strips of patterned paper and washi tape. After placing my letter stickers, I was ready to add my embellishments!
I painted my crowns with white acrylic paint; once dry I added Sparkle White Embossing Powder and set with my heat gun.
I adhered jewels as well as an enamel dot to accent my crown.
Here, I added Silver Pearl Paint from Viva Decor in the bottom openings of my crown.
For my second spread, I wanted to use mainly distress ink and Clear Scraps Mascils!
Using my 6 Inch Diamond Mascil and Distress Ink, I created a fun background for my pages! Its helpful to use washi tape or painter's tape to hold your Mascil in place while inking! Simply move your Mascil as needed to line up the diamonds when inking.
Next, I used the 6 Inch Whimsical Butterfly Mascil and three complimenting colors of Distress Ink. With this Mascil, its important to take your time around the smaller openings. I found it helpful to also hold down the center of the Mascil while inking.
Here is the end result...I love how it turned out!
For my last spread, I used the 3x12 Truth, Peace, Love Mascil to document the Fruits of the Spirit! I used pink and yellow spray inks with my Mascil and outlined with a black journaling pen.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to do some bible journaling with Clear Scraps! Have a great day!
