Clear Scraps and Quick Quotes Acrylic Mini Album
April 25, 2017
Hello friends! It's Jennifer on the blog today and I'm here to share my project during our cross promotion with Quick Quotes! I created a mini album using the 6x6 Tab Album in Acrylic. The album includes 5 pages of thick acrylic with 3 tab pages and a front and back cover. Quick Quotes sent me their Earth Wind Fire collection along with three of their Powderpuff Chalk Inks! I thought the colors went well for an outdoor event so I scrapped older photos of a trip to a local zoo!
I painted one of the Dragonfly Chipboard Embellishments as well as the Rectangle Deco Chipboard Frame with acrylic paint in off white. Once dry, I used a generous amount of the Powderpuff Chalk Ink in Navy. For the frame, I just wanted to ink the edges and used Milk Chocolate.
For my inside pages, I used the different patterns of Earth Wind Fire along with the coordinating chipboard embellishments. I again used the Powderpuff Chalk Ink to distress the edges of both papers and chipboard.
I didn't add many embellishments to my pages since the patterns are busy in themselves. I added pieces of washi tape or used a few hand punches to create smaller embellishments.
On my last page, I used one of the Monarch Butterfly Chipboard Embellishments to accent my photo! I again painted with off white acrylic paint and inked with Powderpuff Chalk Ink in Barn Board.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed our fun swap with Quick Quotes this week! Be sure to check out all of the fun Chipboard Shapes as well as albums in the Clear Scraps shop!
Have a great day!

Wonderful job on this album - perfect colors for a zoo visit! The little wooden chipboard animals you added are perfect!
