Happy, Happy Tuesday Clear Scraps family!

Today I am sharing a SUPER cool new Daisies 12x12 layout from Clear Scraps. They made it SO easy to put together a layout, quickly and beautifully! Here is what it looks like in the package.

CSALdaisies-2

Just peel off the film protection from both sides of the acrylic, and have a blast creating!

I used two colors of alcohol ink to color the page frame acrylic.

DaisiesLO_LeahCrowe

The versatility is great too, because you can turn this in any direction to suit your photo/design needs.

How about some close ups?

Seeing the background pattern paper is SO beautiful to me. I love it.

I decided to use the larger square to create a title block on this layout.

I used lots of flowers and doilies and of course a paper collection that I had in my stash to complete this layout.

Love Layout closeup 1

For the cupid angels that was on the acrylic sheets I first used a worded stamp to to pop out the cupids using staz on ink in brown. Then I took some gold liquid pearls by ranger to draw out the outline of the cupids.

Here is a closer look ..

Introducing the Paisley stencil~

Hi, Connie here with a tag using the new Paisley Stencil that has layers.  You can go crazy adding the layers while having tons of fun.

Paisley overlay_c.mercer

I created a step out of how the tag was created.

Jan tag

I started with StazOn inks,  picked colors that looked good together.

I used a chipboard tag by Clear Scraps and applied Gesso to it.  Let it dry.

I applied the ink with a makeup sponge.   Start with the open images.

After you have your images stenciled on the chipboard tag, in random places, add the line work over the images.

To add color to the chipboard word "create" ~ use the StazOn ink with the same applicator.

Easy and fun!!!

Hello Butterfly Card

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a fun card I made with Half Scallop Send it Clear Card base and the new Grass/Butterfly Layering Stencil.

Butterfly_stencil_clearscraps_card_nancy keslin

These new layering stencils are so much fun to use, especially with the acrylic cards.

To begin, I inked the grass layer on both the base and bottom layer of the Send it Clear card with a variety of Stazon ink colors.  This gave my grass lots of dimension and interest.

Butterfly_stencil_clearscraps_card_nancy keslin_grass

On the top layer of the Send it Clear card I again used my Stazon inks to ink the butterflies.

Finally I embellished the card with a few flowers and a paper butterfly.

Be sure to check out this new layering stencil, as well as all the others that were just released at CHA.

Circle Printer Tray Frame

Hi friends! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing another awesome NEW Clear Scraps product: Printer Tray Frames!  And yes, they come in different shapes!  Today, I'm sharing my Circle Printer Tray Frame I used to showcase some adorable photos of my nephew's first birthday.

Clear_Scraps_Circle_Printer_Tray_Frame

I applied  light blue acrylic paint to my chipboard and covered the front piece with patterned paper.  I used my sanding tool to smooth the edges and get rid of any excess paper.  I also added some of the same light blue acrylic paint to the inside edges of the frames.

Clear_Scraps_Circle_Printer_Tray_Frame3

So, I have a confession to make....after I finished my project, I realized I didn't put my frame together correctly.  I accidentally left out the acrylic piece!  I know as scrappers, we mess up but I still love how it turned out! The plus side is that I can use the remaining pieces for another project!

I used my Big Bite to punch a hole in my frame so I could add a colored ribbon and decorative clip!

Mountain Scene Layered Card!

Using the New Layered Stencils from Clear Scraps..

Samples with Mascals-name

Today I want to show you what I have done using the new layered stencil. I used staz on ink in green for the trees and some gel med to add seed beads for the snow that you see as well. This was done on top the acetate sheet that I cut up to make the front of the card clear.I added a title to the inside of the card so you can see it peeking through the front.

The back of the card is the pattern paper used to make the card.

Here is a closer look at the inking of the stencil called Mountain Scene.

Samples with Mascals- Close up

Be sure to try the layered stencils they are so much fun to play with and the possibilities are endless in what you can do with them.
