Happy Monday Clear Scraps fam!
Today I am sharing one of the wonderful Mixable albums Clear Scraps has. The great thing about these albums is the mix between chipboard and acrylic.
I started off by adding pattern paper to the backside of the acrylic pages as well as both sides of the chipboard pages.
I then used stazon ink and a 6" chevron stencil through out the album to add interest and make the pages more cohesive.
This is the one chipboard page I left naked and painted with acrylic paint. The pink was two coats, and then stenciled with the chevron mask. The chipboard is a champ and holds up well to paint with no warping.
As you can see, the theme of this album was a concert my daughter took me to for my 40th birthday! Panic! at the Disco!!! They are my favorite and it was a dream come true.
After I added all my embellishments I used a book ring to hold it all together.
Oh yes, one other thing to note with the stencil, I added it in places to help hide the Beacons 3-in-1 glue I used to adhere the pattern paper to the back of the acrylic pages. It looks cool and is also useful in hiding glue spots. Win, Win!
