September Tag - Irene Tan
Christmas in September

September Tag by Jennifer

Hello! I can't believe it is September already!  Today I'm sharing my tag for this month and I'm going to show you how I created it!

After removing the protective film from both sides of the acrylic, I got out my Teal Staz-On ink and a favorite feather stamp.  I carefully stamped the front of the tag ensuring to re-ink each time. Staz-On is perfect for stamping on Clear Scraps acrylic!  Just be sure to allow ample drying time before you add any additional embellishments.

I set aside my tag and grabbed a few coordinating colors of alcohol ink and one of the Feather Mixers.  I simply dropped small amounts of ink onto the top of the acrylic allowing colors to blend.  It's really fun to play around with this technique and it doesn't have to be perfect!

Here is my end result...I did end up adding a bit of teal to the mix as well.  I layered pieces of ephemera under my feather and added some bakers twine to finish.
