Shakers Two Ways

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a couple of projects I recently completed using the new Clear Scraps Shakers.  These little shakers are so fun to play with and I know you are all going to make amazing projects using them.  For my first shaker, the Mini Star, I simply cut a photo to fit, added a title,  and added a few sequins before assembling.   Star_shaker_clear scraps_nancy keslin

Oh, and don't forget to punch a few holes to hang before assembling, if you want to use it as an ornament.   I also added some big square rhinestones I happened to have in my stash.

When you shake, you reveal the sentiment inside.  How fun is that.

For my second project, I chose the Mini Angel Shaker to add to the Small Scallop Clipboard.  I chose the clipboard, but this mini shaker would be cute on a large card, a tag, or as an embellishment for just about anything.

I painted the clipboard with lots of distress stain and acrylic paints before adding my embellishments to the front.  This project was super quick and easy, and oh so much more lovely in real life.  The photos just don't do it justice.
