Hello! Jennifer here on the blog today with my project using the Home Expressions Large Clear Word Title. Clear Scraps released five new vertical words this past January at the CHA show! Each can be altered for your home decor projects!
I started out with a large rectangular canvas and painted the edges with yellow acrylic paint. I then pieced together my background pages and stitched the outside.
Next, I used a light cream color acrylic paint on the edges of the Word Title. After drying, I then traced each letter in different patterned paper.
Before adhering my letter, I distressed the edges as well as added lines with a journaling pen.
As you can see, the letters as well as the house are adorned with embellishments from the collection I used.
After altering my Word Title, I used foam dots to adhere to the front of the canvas to give it some dimension.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Check out the other four Expressions Word Titles in the Clear Scraps shop! Have a great day!
Additional products used: patterned paper, chipboard, wood veneer shape: Simple Stories; bakers twine: Whisker Graphics; journaling pen: American Crafts; paper distresser: Tim Holtz; adhesive: Beacon Crafts, 3M; misc: canvas, acrylic paint.
