Faux Die Cut Stained Glass by Wendy Price
April 20, 2016
I was recently die cutting a bunch of flower outline die cuts and I began to wonder if I cut it out of black card stock if it would look like the leading in stained glass.
You will need outline die cuts, alcohol markers, and Clear Scrap acrylic.
Instructions:
- Diecut flower outline using an electronic die cutter.
- Adhere die cuts to the front of the acrylic shape.
- Color in design on the back of the acrylic shape using alcohol markers.
- Embellish with photos and stickers.
Tips and Tricks: Before you peel the protective coating off of the acrylic, test out your medium and marker colors. It gives you a chance to test out colors without commitment.
Supplies Used:
Clear Scrap-XL Dots, Chipboard Butterflies
Basic Grey pattern paper and stickers
Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers
Faber Castell Gelatos
Beacon Zip Dry
