Home Decor ~ Letter Box by Clear Scraps!

Hi, Connie here with a new product alert!  Clear Scraps has a fabulous new product that is called Clear Boxes. They come in different sizes and are great for home decor or organizing scrappy stuff.  That is what I chose to do, organize!!!

Boxes come un-assembled with step by step DIY instructions. Each box comes with 1- bottom, 4 side pieces. Also included are 4 round sticker discs to help assemble your box. Be sure to REMOVE the protective film from both sides of all acrylic pieces. Carefully assemble the clear box. Made in the USA and there are 6 sizes to choose from.

Here is how to lay the pieces out ~

Remove plastic from the acrylic pieces.

Size the papers for each sections and adhere to acrylic.  Side note : I chose to adhere the paper to the inside of the box.  Either way will be fine, your choice.

The acrylic pieces snap in place and are reinforced with glue.  I used Beacons 3-IN-1 all purpose glue.  Works great!

Before adding the feet and metal label, let the box completely dry.

The feet and metal label were adhered with Beacon 3-IN-1 all purpose glue, also.

February Tag-Jennifer

I am so excited about Clear Scraps' new Tag Program! Today I am sharing my February tag and how I created it!

Alcohol ink is always a great medium to color acrylic! I added a layer of alcohol ink in Watermelon using a cotton applicator.

Once the red was dry. I added both drops of Watermelon and Silver Mixative to the cotton and lightly dabbed at the edges of the tag.

Once the alcohol ink was dry, I flipped over the tag and secured the 6 inch Funky Pattern Mascil with washi tape. I then applied a thin layer of modeling paste.

And here is the end result!

Thank you for stopping by!  Keep watching the blog for more tag inspiration from the design team!

Additional products:  patterned paper, die cuts, stickers : Crate Paper; metal tag: Tim Holtz;  alcohol ink: Ranger; modeling paste: Teresa Collins Designs; ribbon: Snug Hug; misc: doily, thread.

February Tag Fun by Pinky

Hey there friends, of course by now you know we have a new Tag Program where the Clear Scraps Designers share tags monthly. This is my February Tag using the new Tag Album and Tag Box Set.

Feb Tag Program Clear Scraps3

For this tag I took the 12" Heart Arrow Mascil and used modeling paste on the front. I also used chunky red glitter right as I applied it, so it would adhere.

I allowed it to dry for a good 5 hours, then dusted off the excess glitter.

Feb Tag Program Clear Scraps2

I turned the tag over and peeled off the protective film and spray painted it in a light yellow, pink, then coral color. After that I added red pearls with a Pearl pen, and them added some sticker stars.

I wanted it to be a birthday tag so I added Happy Birthday as well.

My second tag in the album, I am very excited to keep making tags.

Have you tried the Clear Scraps tags yet? They come in acrylic AND chipboard!

Have fun creating in February friends,

until next time, this is Pinky signing off. Happy Monday.
