Mini Mixable Dainty Album
January 26, 2016
Hello! I hope you've been enjoying the new releases and what the design team has created! We always hope we are inspiring you to create with Clear Scraps! Today, I'm sharing one of the new products that is simply adorable: the Mini Mixable Dainty Album! This cute mini is just 3.5x5 and perfect for your Instax photos or wallet sized pictures! My daughter and friend were goofing off one afternoon, so I decided to capture some fun photos of them!
I covered my first page with patterned paper as well as utilized some of my border punches to embellish the edge of the page! I then layered hand punched shapes with a cute, small chipboard frame and the coordinating buttons and epoxy word.
On the inside of my first page, I layered more patterned paper as well as added one of my favorite Clear Scrap products: the Butterfly mixer! The first page is chipboard which I first painted with white acrylic paint. I then adhered my patterned paper and again used a border punch (I have so many that I don't use so I challenge you to use a tool that you haven't gotten out lately!)
Here is a close up of the button border I made along the bottom of my photo...it's a great way to add some dimension to your page!
Embellishing a smaller mini album such as this is a perfect opportunity to get into your stash and use up some of your smaller embellishments! I used a tiny pennant hand punch as well as a few of my wood veneer shapes to accent my pages!
Stamping a sentiment or using washi tape is another way to embellish your photos without overloading your page!
Here is a shot of the back of my album...I added a small label to jot down my initials and the date. :)
Thank you for checking out the blog today! I hope you are inspired to make a little mini album of your own! Have a wonderful day!
