Celebrate 40th - Mini Album

Hello everyone this  is Adora,  and today I am sharing this album I've created using some brand new Clear Scraps products, the Acrylic Mixable Sally 8x8.5 Album and chains border stencil/template. I made this for my sister's 40th birthday celebration..

I used the stencil on the front acrylic cover and add some embellishment.  I arranged the  first page so that the photo will see thru the front cover.

Here's the first page. Then fill the remaining pages  with some of the highlights of her birthday celebration photos and embellishments.

Desk Page Frame ~

Hi, Connie here with a 5 x 7 Desk Page Frame by Clear Scraps, that I created into a desk calendar.  Easy project makes for an awesome gift.

Cha2

The paper and the photo are inside the frame.  The embellishments and calendar are on the outside of the frame.  The calendar is clipped on, so it can be easily updated with a new calendar for the next year. A really fun product by Clear Scraps!

Clear Scraps Chevron Mascil: So Lucky

Hello friends! Jennifer here and I'm BEYOND excited to be back with the Clear Scraps team again!  I dearly love this company as well as the people who run the show behind the scenes. Today, I'm happy to share a layout I created using a few of Clear Scraps' awesome products!

I'm a big fan of chevrons so when the 12 inch Chevron Mascil was released, I was a happy scrapper!   I used the Mascil along with a bright yellow spray ink and lightly misted in a few areas.  You can go as light or dark with your mediums.  And the great thing is that the Mascil stays in place so there is always a clean image after you are finished!

I also used one of the Small Stars  Clear Shape along with another fun Mascil: the 6 inch Polka Dots. Here, I  first colored the star with Ranger Alcohol ink in Butterscotch. After drying (which is super quick!), I applied modeling paste with the Mascil.

Here are a few extra shots of my page!

Clear Scraps Swag!!!

Hi Connie here with a super cute idea for making some swag for your tote bag, using the Dress Form Mirror embellishment by Clear Scraps.

Flair1

Supplies~

Hot glue gun and bits and pieces of ribbon, twine, dried flowers, buttons and small white tags.

Instructions~

1. Wrap trim around the center (waist) of the dress form.  This will be the anchor for gluing your embellishments to.

2. Add the dried flower and hot glue the twine under the flower.

3. Add a couple of stick pins to the cluster.

4. Hot glue an "O" ring to the back of the dress form and attach the clip. I used a stick pin by Tim Holtz.  Worked really well.  I hot glued a piece of small felt over the pin body.

5. Add a tag to the cluster (like the price tag of a dress).

6. You could also ink around the edges of the Mirror Dress Form.

Thinking Of You With Send It Clear Cards

These Send it Clear Acrylic cards make me so happy so I decided
to pair one with stamps and
some flower paper to create this simple floral card.

At the end of the day it was just a card for my stash, because
I felt like I needed to create...THERAPY! :)
Happy Crafty Day my friends!

Acrylic Film Border

Cutest Prisoners(resize)

Hi Clear Scraps fans! Today I'm sharing with you a layout featuring Clear Scraps acrylic film border and stones mascil.

I've simply use some paint and a mist with the mascil to create the background. As for the acrylic border, I've used a permanent marker to outline it to make it visible.

Using acrylic to layer your projects are amazing. You could easily create the layers you want without covering too much of what is underneath it.

Take Note

Good Morning everyone, hope you had a great weekend.  Every year when we turn the calendar pages I get the itch to clean and organize.  This is going to be the year that it happens...you know the feeling.   One of the spaces that is always out of control for me is near my desktop computer.  I have school notes, dt notes, calendars, to dos....So, I decided to create this little "dashboard" to help keep the area tidy and clean.

Take note_dashboard_clear scraps_nancy keslin

This was a quick and simple project to make.  I simply stamped my little gnome image onto a 5x7 Desk Page frame using Stazon Ink, and colored the image with some dimensional paint.  A few dimensional sticker letters, a package of sticky notes, a flower, and a pen  completed the project.  On the "inside" of the frame I am able to add a notepad and small calendar.  I love the ease and portabiltiy of this little project (I can also pick it up and carry it to another space if I am working from my laptop or iPad).  This has been sitting next to my machine for just over a month now and I just feel so much more organized.

How do you stay organized?
