NEW Art Is Love Clipboard By Pinky

I have a fun NEW CHA release to share again, a brand new 

Clear Scraps Acrylic Clipboard that I turned into a Mixed Media Art piece 

for my crafting room. Really I just wanted to experiment with some

mediums with the Mascils. 

So I found out that if you want to use water based acrylic crackle paint

(I use reg acrylic paint on acrylic all the time no problem) the 

crackle paint flies off into a million pieces, so you have to seal it

when you put it on WET, then I added more paint because of all the flaking,

but in the end I love it!  

 I did the Bokeh with the Krylon again only this time I 

did it all on the back in layers! :) 

 Then added the texture to the front and embellishments. 

It's girl-y and love-y like me...

I love art and everyone who creates it is just beautiful working with

their hands and creativity, so it's all good people!!!

Happy Day Mixables

Hello Clear Scraps fans! It's Irene here today and I'm sharing with you a mini album which I've created using Clear Scraps newly released "Mixable Cutie" which consists of both acrylic and chipboard pages.

Here are some pages in it.

This mixable are so much fun to decorate. I did not do any mixed media techniques on this album. I simply kept it clean and simple. This way, it will be perfect as a gift. Hope you all like it!

You Make my Heart Sing.....

Hello everyone!!! Can you believe we are almost thru the first month of 2015, and  as we approach the next month,  can you just feel the love in the air?  :)  In about 2 weeks Valentines day will be celebrated everywhere. To start the celebration, I've created a little something for my hubby.  It's an acrylic heart layout or it can be an oversize card. I used Clear Scraps Music Notes Border  masking/stencil and the Clear XL Heart Shape. 

1. Use red spray paint to do the stencil. Trace and cut the heart shape onto the pink paper. 3. Cut photo to small size and use patterned paper to frame then adhere onto the heart paper. 4. Adhere the acrylic heart on top then embellish the top side with letters and stickers.

Mixable Travel

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you another project I made using new products from Clear Scraps.  This time, it is the Mixable Travel 6x8 Album.  It is no secret that I love the mixable albums and always have a great time playing with them and this one was no different.

Vintage Garden Clipboard Wall Decor

Hi Clear Scrappers,

Katie here sharing this altered wall decor using current CHA releases - Clipboard and Clear Box... 

Used quite an amount of mulberry roses and laces, I created this decor with an intention of storing some small little treasures or jewelery etc...

Create Art Clipboard

Today I'm sharing another project featuring the new clipboards. I thought it would make a cute clipboard to hold kids artwork while they color in the car. 

I adhered diecuts and pattern paper behind the clipboard so it couldn't get ruined by any accidental scribbles by budding artists while they color.

Pretty in Pink {Large Scallop Landscape Clipboard}

Hi! Raechelle here again today sharing another fabulous BRAND NEW release; the Large Scalloped Landscape Clipboard. When I recieved my box of new CHA items, this was the very first project I completed. I absolutely adore this clipboard!

There are several wonderful clipboard designs to choose from and the design possibilities are endless. I chose to use this more as a home decor piece vs. a more functional one, but that being said, it would be fairly easy to adapt this if I ever wanted to.

SO PROUD Wordboard

 

 

 

 

Raechelle here sharing a few new release items. These word boards come in a variety of options and make a wonderful home decor piece. 

This is the SO PROUD wordboard. I wanted to keep it fairly simple to showcase the photos. 

 

I used the new Graduation Hats Border mascil on some white cardstock and added them behind two of the letter openings. 

I also added some fun new Dragonfly Mirror Embellishments.

New Clipboard

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you another one of the fabulous new products from ClearScraps....the Large Deco Landscape Clipboard.  Since I had my wedding photos out, I couldn't resist making one more project with them.  hee hee

These new clipboards are just so much fun to play with.  Here I collaged a number of elements, papers, lace, ribbons, flowers....all my favorite goodies on top of the clipboard, and then used the new ornate flourish border on the back with a bit of gel medium and glitter.

I really love this project and can't wait to hang it in my home.

Hello Box....

Hello everyone.....today I am so excited to share this Clear Acrylic 5.5x7.o box.  I fell inlove with this box, it actually comes unassembled, gives you a lot of ways to work on each piece before putting it all together, and of course there's so many ways to create/design this box to make it your own, from simple to elaborate design, whatever your heart desires.

 I used printed transparency sheets. Cut the sheets a little smaller than the acrylic then adhere on the inside side of the box.  Simple and fast.

Last minute holiday card

Clear Scraps ~ Perfection everytime!

Hi Connie here with a couple of really sweet looking projects using new products by Clear Scraps.  The first one is,  the brand new acrylic Clear Box that is super clever and gorgeous!!! Just like it is ~stunning!!!

Love the acrylic, just being acrylic!!! 

The egg has it right~Perfection!!!!

The second project is a canvas pillow stenciled with the beautiful 12" Nordic Snowflakes.

White acrylic paint with a round sponge was used to apply the color to the canvas pillow.   Secure the stencil with tape, apply the paint and let it dry.  Then repeat the process.  It goes pretty fast.

Small Acrylic box

The releases this season from Clear Scraps have been amazing, but I would be lying if I didn't say this release was my favorite of them all!!

This acrylic box is completely see through, and super easy to assemble.

This is the small, and it comes in two other sizes!

The butterfly mirror is in the new release as well, isn't this just so gorgeous?

I think this would be perfect for storing special trinkets on your nightstand.

Shabby Vintage Acrylic Clipboard

Supplies Used:

•  Clipboard Large Regular Landscape
• Ornate Flourish Mirror Embellishements
• White IrRESISTible Texture Spray (Imagine Crafts)
• White Picket Fence Distress Paint (Ranger)
• City Sidewalks Collage Sheets  (Pink Paislee)
• Zip Dry Glue (Beacon Adhesives)
• Vintage Lace and Trim, Crinkle Ribbon
• Small Adhesive Pearls
• Misc. Embellishments

1. Spray the back of the clipboard with the IrRESISTible Texture Spray to give it a soft lacey look and dab the edges with White Picket Fence paint. 
2. Adhere collage papers and vintage photo into place or allow the clip to hold them.
3. Adhere mirror embellishment to corner of clipboard
4. Embellish Clipboard with Vintage Trim and Lace.
5. Add small adhesive rhinestones and a vintage style button to the clip and tied a bow with crinkle ribbon.  

 

Magical Decor Board

Hi there, Lisa here today to share our new Magical Decor Board. 

To create this fun memory piece, I painted the chipboard background with a wash of Disney Cinderella Blue. Each of the letters were traced onto the photos which I then fussy cut and glued to the chipboard.  I added a Disney castle and some flowers and the swirls (which are our Flourish Embellishments misted a glittery lavendar). I punched holes through the acrylic and the chipboard with my cropodile to thread the tulle to create the hanger.

My daughter is thrilled to have this piece for her room to remember her birthday celebrated at Disneyland!
