Cupcakes and Friends Mini Album

Good morning everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a sweet little Cupcake Keychain album I made for my niece.  As a new Kindergarten student she is making new friends and I wanted to create something for her to remember these new relationships.

I kept the album simple using just a bit of stickles and a few buttons and flowers.  And, by placing the photos in between the acrylic pages and the paper, I was able to ensure that the photos would go untouched and last just a bit longer than might otherwise happen with one so young.

What can you seal behind the acrylic page?

Hugs.

Hi {card}

Raechelle here sharing a quick and simple, yet pretty card.

I started with a Half Fancy Send it Clear card

I wanted to keep this simple yet inviting, so I used the pretty scallop cut to my advantage by placing minimal embellishments upon it kept most of the design to the inside.

Shabby Card and a Sabbilicious Tutorial

Good morning Clear Scraps Friends.

Today I have a shabby card to share with you

ClearCardNor_ElenaOlinevich_Si

To create this card I used Ornate Send it Clear Card.

Also to embellish it I added one of the Butterflies Embellishments,

that I colored with alcohol inks and then just traced on it using a permanent pen.

Card_ElenaOlinevich1_Si

To color my background I started with acryl Structur clear gel, and applied it using

a 6" Cheetah mascil

Then I colored this area with 2 alcohol inks:

I didn't wait till it dried and misted Shimmerz white spray:

Then it took some time the gel to dry and the spray drops too.

Hope you have liked it.

Halloween Popcorn Treat Boxes and Card

Hi again friends, it's Pinky today with another use for Clear Scraps acrylic, these are Popcorn Treat Boxes for the classroom and a card for the teacher too.
I used my Silhouette to cut the Gable Boxes out- then I inserted Clear Scraps acrylic into the front and back so it would hold small popcorn (or smaller candy would work) and each child in the classroom gets his or her own box!
These were so easy and fun to make.
I then created a Halloween card using the Clear Scraps acrylic as well.
The Clear Scraps acrylic makes a wonderful touch, making it MORE useful and definitely makes it stand out.

Recipe Guide Teacup Magnets by Pinky

Hey friends, it's Pinky today.

This month I created a sweet little Recipe Album using the Creating Made Easy September Kit, and when I was going to create for today's post I saw my little Clear Scraps Acrylic Mini TeaCup album and thought what a great addition to my Recipe Album, kitchen MAGNETS!Clear Scraps Teacup Magnets Recipe Ideas Pinky Hobbs 4

So I used the leftover papers I had from the kit (the kits are phenominal!).Clear Scraps Teacup Magnets Recipe Ideas Pinky Hobbs 1

One of the stickers included in the kit had a measurement cheat sheet, so I definitely used that one, then I created a Recipe Notes magnet as well because I always substitute buttermilk with vinegar and milk, etc....

I also added a dishwasher magnet that says "Dirty Dishes" simply because if I am going to make a set I might as well coordinate them all.

Scallop Send It Clear Card

Hello Card(resize)

Hello Clear Scraps fans! It's Irene here and I would like to share with you all an acrylic card which I've created using Clear Scraps Scallop Send It Clear card. To keep the card interesting, I've left most part of the front flaps to be see-through.

DSC_5253

One way to decorate but still keep the see-throughness is by using stamps. You can stamp details onto acrylic by using solvent or permanent ink. This way, you can have tons of details on the front flaps without taking the see-throughness away.

A LATTE love for Echo Park and Clear Scraps!

Hi Clear Scraps fans!  Thank you for popping by today during our Echo Park days!  I have a super fun mini album to share using the Simple Life line from Echo Park and our Mason Jar mini album.

Photo_1 (6)

I just loved putting together this little mini to immortalize my love of coffee and some of my favorite snaps of it.  For starters, I did alter the album by using my Tim Holtz Tonic scissors to cut off the top of the album...it was the entire part that looked like the threads of the jar and what I was left with looks just like a coffee mug, I was so happy! Here's a look at my favorite page where I created a little pocket using a Starbucks coffee sleeve with a wonderful Oprah quote on it.  My journaling is on the tag tucked into the pocket.

Photo_5

I do have full pictures of the entire mini on My Blog today so if you'd like to see the whole project, please do stop by!  Thank you so much for checking out the Clear Scraps blog today and have a wonderful day!

Lovely Day with Sassy Mini and Echo Park

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a fun mini album I created using the Sassy Mixable 8x8 album and the gorgeous new Echo Park Collection, Simple Life.

Lovely day_mini album_clear scraps_echo park_nancy keslin_coverLovely day_mini album_clear scraps_echo park_nancy keslin_page 1Lovely day_mini album_clear scraps_echo park_nancy keslin_page 2Lovely day_mini album_clear scraps_echo park_nancy keslin_page 3 Lovely day_mini album_clear scraps_echo park_nancy keslin_last

I filled the Sassy Mini Album with the wonderfully fun and bright Echo Park papers and bits of flowers and lace.  The beautiful acrylic pages allow the fun embellishments from the collection and papers to peek through the other pages, while the shaped chipboard helps break things up for a more cohesive look.

Hugs

CS + Echo Park with Sue and Connie!

Today we are so happy to have Connie and Sue on the blog with their creativity using Echo Park and Clear Scraps!

First up is Connie....

Hi, Connie here with a project using the Mini Arrow Album  by Clear Scraps and Echo Park (Simple Life) pattern paper.  I know you think a mini album is coming, but it's not.  I took the Mini Arrow Album apart and made Place Seating cards for the "grands".  Take a look~

House1

When I started creating with this super cute mini, all I saw was a house not an arrow, so that is how this project came about.  It is all held together with Beacon 3-IN-1 glue, keeping  everything in place.

House2

The acrylic house is sitting on a vintage milk cap for added charm!

House3

And to think it all started with this cute Mini Arrow Album!

And now we have a layout from Sue....

Grandkids are Blessings Layout

I have two adorable grandsons who are just the sweetest little guys.

I just love being around these two.  So many smiles, hugs and lots and lots of love.

Being a Grandma is Wonderful.  (Although I’m sure I don’t look old enough to be a Grandma)

Grandkids are definitely a Blessing.

The “Grandkids are Blessings” Layout was made with:

Tip:  I sprayed the Irresistible Texture sprays fairly thick on the front of the word “blessings” and allowed a couple of hours to dry before adhering to my page with Glaz On.

For the next five days we will bea featuring amazing projects using Clear Scraps and Echo Collections with our amazing Design Team.

First we have WENDY...

I am so excited for the opportunity to play with Echo Parks Simple Life Collection. I love happy bright colors and this line is definitely that!

CS_recipestand1_sept14_wendyprice

I did a little happy dance when I realized the pocket page images fit Clear Scraps Recipe Stand perfectly! I used a mix of the pocket page images and pattern paper to cover all the chipboard.

CS_sept14_recipestand3_wendyprice

I used the 6" Stripes Mascil to add Embossing Paste to the Small Star Embellishments. While it was still wet I sprinkled glitter on and tapped off the extra. I layered them through out the mini book on the acetate pages.

CS_recipe stand2_wendyprice

I loved the matching stickers in the Echo Park Simple Life Collection and used them to decorate both the pages and tabs on the acrylic dividers.
