Celebrating Summer with an Acrylic Pop~Up Card!

Hi, Connie here with an Acrylic ( Pop~Up) Card celebrating Summer.   Summer is here in Texas!!! We are seeing hot days and more, hot days.  This card made me think of a cool drink and a cool breeze.

I used half of the acrylic sheet by Clear Scraps.  I used a marker and made a line down the center and then used hand scissors to cut it.  I then put that in the die cut machine and ran it through to get my Pop~Up Card.

I also used the banner shape to make a flag behind the girl tag.  The paper is by Graphic45.  The acrylic is adhered with Zip Dry by Beacon.  Works so good.

The acrylic acts like a cover for the Pop~Up card.  The acrylic just screams "fancy" to me!!!!   Love the look and feel!!!  Because the card is  made out of acrylic it  sits and stays open nicely.  It displays beautifully.
