Butterfly Mobile
June 29, 2014
Hello Clear Scraps fans, Michelle W. Here with a fun butterfly mobile. Using the acrylic mini butterfly album, I transformed them in to this one of a kind mobile.
I covered each butterfly with patterned paper and used my crop-a-dile to repunch the holes in the butterfly wings.
I embellished each butterfly with some rhinestone flourishes. I took full size flourishes and cut them down to work the space on the butterfly.
The options are endless when you cut larger flourishes into smaller pieces, it gives a one of a kind look too.
To hang the butterflies, I used embroidery floss and tied them through the holes on the butterfly wings and then tied them to the inside ring of a hoop ring. This one happend to be an oblong shape.
Here's another look at the butterflies. I only embellished one side of the butterflies but I think it looks gorgeous with just the beautiful paper.
