Mixed Media Card Using Mascils
April 05, 2014
Hey there friends,
It's Pinky today and I wanted to share a way to jazz up those envelopes as
well as create a cool mixed media card.
Take cardstock, spritz with Goosebumps texture spray (from Creating Made Easy Kit).
Set aside to dry for about an hour.
When it is dry- use Clear Scraps Monarch Butterfly Mascil and gradiated ink to press into textured areas
and create butterfly background patterns.
Dry ink using heat gun.
Trim out to 5X7 size.
Use a crackle stamp in same ink colors to add more texture.
Using cardstock punch out
several butterflies.
Adhere butterflies.
Stitch through butterflies, then around card using sewing machine.
Adhere card front to a card base.
Envelope Fun:
Using border punch and punch out bottom of Brown Bag Kraft A7 Envelope.
Using cardstock trim out 4X7" piece.
Fold in half.
Place thin layer of adhesive at bottom crease and place in envelope.
Hold in place- then adhere sides inside envelope to ensure strength.
Now you have a cool jazzed up envelope, to coordinate with your mixed media card.
I hope you enjoyed my crafty fun today.
Until next time- Keep on creating!
