What a lovely day Card

Hello crafters.

Today is such a lovely and sunny spring day, and I have a shabby card to share with you

Test

Though Clear Scraps has the range of Send It Clear Scraps Cards , I created this card using the 2 pages of Acrylic Mini Word Album Baby

and one page of Mini Deco Album   as an embellihsment.

I inked the edges with white Staz - On, mounted it on foam tape and pulled the ribbon through the whole, that is supposed to use for the binding rings.

Close

The front page was painted with Dimensional paint and misted with shimmering mists ( by Shimmerz), and embellished with the papers and pearls.

So in fact I have 2 more pages tp create one more card and the word Baby, that I guess I use them  for my next projects.

Thanks for stopping by today,

Elena

Raechelle (Rachel) Bellus:
Raechelle1 6.8.13
Hello! I'm Raechelle (Rachel) Bellus and I live in Spokane Valley, WA. My husband and I have a blended family of six children, one boy and five beautiful girls ages 14-24, with only two remaining at home. Our four children that have left the nest are spread across the country busy creating lives of their own, and while it is difficult to have them all so far away, it is heartwarming to watch them blossom and grow. I have been scrapping for about 13 years now and never lose the thrill of a completed project. To me it is more than just playing with paper, it is a creative outlet that I can share with my family and others who are just as passionate about paper as I am. I love to read and work puzzles when I am not hanging out with my family. I am honored to be joining the Clear Scraps design team!

Hi, I'm Katie from Singapore; a tiny tropical country where you will be surrounded with lots of greeneries. Happily married, living with my husband in a small apartment away from downtown area where we enjoy peace and fresh air together with our pots of plants and herbs... I started papercrafting as young as 3 years old; mostly in folding and cutting of papers. When I get to discover what is scrapbooking in one of my local craft stores, I was mesmerized by the pretty papers and embellishments. I was amazed by how much we can do in creating keepsakes. From there on, I'm addicted, and deeply addicted. Every single piece of keepsakes, I create with a story behind and build within my heart so that memories will last. Love everything that's artsy, shabby, vintage, grunge and beautiful, I enjoy creating, designing and play with different elements and mediums to give some dimensional to my projects. Apart from this, I'm a footwear design student, learning the art of making shoes in the Italian way. So glad to be part of Clear Scraps Design team, looking forward to create more dimensional projects and get inspired together.

We also have some INCREDIBLE designers we just LOVE and wanted them to be part of the family- it's a new program from Clear Scraps-

Canvas Art With Pinky

Hey there Clear Scraps friends,

It's Pinky today with a fun canvas art project I created. With all the new Mascils/Stencils from Clear Scraps it completely opens up the world of art.

Mixed media has never been this amazing!!

For this project I used a canvas which I painted in gold thenI used the 12" Spiral Dots Mascil/stencil painting over it in PINK. Then I spritzed it all in teal.

Art10

And on the canvas itself I used the Oval Frame Mixers- glittering it, then spray painting a bit over. I wanted it to have the graffiti feel.

You won't ever think of Mixed Media the same way!

Try Clear Scraps and see how your art comes alive.

Embossed Acetate

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a card highlighting embossing acetate. Its a fun way to add just a bit of texture to an acetate panel on a card.

Clear_scrap_march14_cloud acetate_WM_wprice2

After embossing my acetate piece, I colored the back of it with an alcohol marker. The markers gave me more control than a blending tool and allowed me to be sure I colored only in the sky area.

  • Clear Scrap 12 x 12 Acetate Blank Sheet

Acrylic Garden Border

Smile and Make A Wish(resize)

Hello everyone! It's me, Irene, here with you today! This time, I would like to share with you a layout which I've created using Clear Scraps acrylic garden border and mascil.

DSC_4398

It is so easy to use these acrylic borders on your layout. I've created a translucent effect with the border that I've used on my layout to make it more interesting. I've colored it with velvets by Art Anthology and some paint markers.

DSC_4408

I've also used a mascil by Clear Scraps and some sorbets by Art Anthology to create the background.

These acruylic borders can be use as a whole piece on your project or you could also cut them up separately to use them on smaller projects. Try it!
