Remembering Grandma: New Word Frames
February 27, 2014
Hello Clear Scraps friends! Jennifer here and I'm happy to share with you what I created with one of the new Word Frames! I received the Grandma Word Frame in my box and knew instantly I wanted to use old photos of my grandmother!
Each Word Frame has a solid chipboard back with an acrylic front in which the word or sentiment is custom cut.
I used one pattern to cover the chipboard background, then used both photographs and patterned paper to back each of my letters. I cut strips of the teal pattern to serve as the "edge" of my frame on top of the acrylic.
I added embellishments from the collection I used, as well as from my stash. These paper flowers from Prima were a great accent to my Word Frame!
I also used these Clearly Accent Butterflies as well! I colored them with Alcohol Ink and Distress Glitter from Ranger before adhering.
Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the large selection of Word Frames in the Clear Scrap shop! Have a great day!
Additional products used: patterned paper, stickers, die cuts: Crate Paper; flowers: Prima; decorative brads: My Mind's Eye, Teresa Collins Designs; bling: Teresa Collins Designs; bakers twine: Whisker Graphics; distress ink: Color Box; misc: buttons
Sweet way to honor her and preserve your memories. Cool color choice. Great design CLEARSCRapS.
